‘Foxy Music’ won best documentary and was commended for the rich diverse talent that was included.

Foxy Music, a documentary in the New Voices from Wales series, is based on the Foxy Roxies, a female-led grassroots music and arts collective.Reem, Ruba, Violet and Gemma are two sets of sisters from Cardiff who became best friends and shared a house with an annexe in the back garden. With this space, they founded the collective, and the documentary depicts the profound impact they have had on local artists by assisting them in recording music, creating videos, and promoting them. The documentary highlights the women's passion for music and community, as well as Cardiff's diverse music scene. We get to follow the Foxy Roxies as they plan a live collective gig and meet and hear the stories of the local artists they have helped.
